When This Street Performer Started Singing, Everyone Stopped In Amazement

Martin Hurkens is a baker by trade, but after losing his business back in 2009, he decided to pursue an old dream of his. He wanted to become an opera singer. After having some success as a busker, the amateur singer decided to enter Holland's Got Talent, and he won the 2010 season of the TV competition.

Martin never lets the success get to his head, though. He remembers the pain he felt when he lost his business. To remain grounded, he continues to lay his hat on the cobblestone streets of his city to perform for unsuspecting residents, and this particular performance stopped people in their tracks.

It's amazing to see someone with such immense talent sharing his gift out of the goodness of his heart. There's something to be said for his humility, and judging by the looks on their faces, these people are more than grateful for the singer's generosity.
