‘Tekken X Street Fighter’ Release Date Still Confirmed To Happen!
Fans may still be waiting for the "Tekken X Street Fighter" release date to be announced but creators of the game assured gamers that it would still happen in the future.
Although it is all rumors and speculations for now, the release of the crossover-fighting game may be introduced in 2016, said in a report by Uber Gizmo.
Famitsu, however, confirmed that Katsuhiro Harada and the rest of his team are still working on the game and development of the fighting title is in complete progress.
"I've been saying this since before, but the fact of the matter is that we're at a pretty far stage into its development," Harada said about the possible "Tekken X Street Fighter" release date. "It might seem like we haven't started on it at all, but the character lineup has been decided upon since a very long time ago and we've already finished the polygon models, moves, and systems."
Even though the creator confirmed that the game is in progress, he explained how he couldn't confirm a "Tekken X Street Fighter" release date for now, after he revealed his plans for a possible surprise release of the game.
"It's very difficult to talk about," he said. "Obviously, I had originally planned to release it much earlier than we're currently looking at."
"People have been talking about the game for such a long time that they aren't going to be surprised if you just release it normally. I don't know if that's what we have planned, but we do plan to have some kind of surprise."
Meanwhile, "Tekken 7" and "Street Fighter 5" is still waiting for a console and PC release, but is expected to happen this year.
Most fans believe that after Bandai Namco completely releases "Tekken" then would the studio focus on the crossover title.
